Waste Man

"Waste Man" is a multidisciplinary project that brings together visual arts, costume design, performance and film to address the environmental and societal issues of waste. At the heart of this endeavor lies a unique costume crafted from discarded materials, transforming trash into a tangible manifestation of humanity's collective subconscious.
This character, Waste Man, stands as a symbol of the often-overlooked remnants of our daily lives, memories, and emotions that are discarded, forgotten, or suppressed. Our trash moves as if it is alive and it interacts with the environment, he has voice, he has dreams, he has questions and with that bringing to the forefront the haunting realities of our throwaway culture and its impact on our psyche and environment. Serving both as a warning and a call to action, "Waste Man" seeks to awaken a deeper consciousness about consumption, waste, and the imprints we leave behind.
